“We went for our Honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. Lots of privacy. Fantastic view!! Close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to do whatever you wanted. But far enough to not hear any night life. It was just very relaxing. We had a great time. Definitely will be back again!”

“Rented a cabin actually on VRBO that was managed by this company and you could not ask for better customer service. We had rented a cabin up high with very steep access roads and snow was in the forecast on the day before we were to check out and the accommodated us with a cabin that was easy to access in the snow for no extra charge. They also kept very good communication throughout our stay. I highly recommend Great Cabins in the Smokies”

“This is the place to go if you want to avoid crowds at a hotel but still close enough to do all the touristy stuff and see the Great Smokey Mountians I don't think the guard turkey is included, but there he was, tall and proud. Greeted us on the 1st day and then left us be. I loved every minute even with the rain.”

“[Review July of 2022] Bear’s Den of Accommodations by Great Cabins in the Smokies: I cannot state enough how much our family loves this property and how grateful we are to the owner for sharing her home with us. Home, is the best way to describe this cabin, as it is lovingly decorated with the very essences of the Smokies—peace and harmony with nature. I realized on our most recent trip how much time we spend ‘outside’ the cabin itself. The variety of trees in its massive yard mimics the GSMNP, as it is nestled very close to the border of the park itself. Minutes away from Little Greenbrier School House, Walker Sister’s Cabin trail and our favorite Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area. But, there is really no need to venture far, as this cabin and its massive property gives you the feeling of being inside the park itself. Bear’s Den, an enchanting cabin and property! Note: Well-managed by Accommodations by Great Cabins in the Smokies and a special thank you to Carolyn and Ruby who make every stay a special occasion. They are wonderful! [Review Oct 2021] We recently returned to Bear's Den, an Accommodation by Great Cabins in the Smokies--WE LOVED IT! Bear’s Den, nestled on a beautiful property, is a lovely cabin for families and couples. Located on the doorstep of the National Park and within hiking distance to Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area and Little Greenbrier School House within the GSMNP. As a couple and family, we have always loved this area, but the CABIN and GROUNDS are added treasures. Lovingly decorated by the owner and well-managed by a local agent, Bear’s Den is a one-of-a-kind, nostalgic, rustic, retreat. *The managing company, Accommodations by Great Cabins in the Smokies, is wonderful and accommodating. They treat returning customers like ‘family.’”

“The cabin was beautiful and very well stocked with everything you will need and more. Things you might forget to bring they had there. The only thing different that would have been nice would have been a handicap ramp to get into the cabin, and a walk in shower down stairs. There was a walk in shower upstairs. I will most definitely want to stay in this cabin again. It was so quiet and beautiful there. We got to see two bears on two different days. They just hung around the cabin for about an hour for a photo shoot. One even layed down and took a nap. I highly recommend this cabin.”

“This is the best run rental company . Lori and Jerry are on it . "We had an amazing stay at this cozy log cabin! The cabin was immaculately clean, and the owner had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. The fireplace was a lovely touch, and the surrounding woods were perfect for hiking. We can't wait to come back! "This log cabin retreat was the perfect escape from the city. The cabin was spacious and well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The hot tub on the deck was a wonderful bonus, and the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway." *Cozy Log Cabin Getaway Review* "We spent a wonderful weekend at this cozy log cabin. The cabin was warm and inviting, with a crackling fireplace and plush furnishings. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we enjoyed cooking meals together. The surrounding woods were perfect for exploring, and we even spotted a few deer! We can't wait to come back to this charming cabin."”
